Explore Stockholm Central Station and see the impressive building from multiple angles and floors. We hop on board from the platform onto intercity and regional trains showing 1st and 2nd class cars. Come see the sleek black colored intercity trains and the modern X2000 silver train that tilts as it goes through turns as it moves at high speeds. We move about 1 km from the station to video many speeding trains on Centralbron near Old City Gamla Stan. Speeding by quickly are freight trains, long distance X2000 trains, and the black intercity trains. Get a great feel for the Swedish and Stockholm train system by watching this video.

A summary of the options being tested at Åkeshov station on the Stockholm tunnelbana. Option 1: Gilgen Door Systems. These doors are used on the Paris Metro on line 1. I have seen these doors in Paris myself and they work very well. If you want to see them in action, I have videos of them here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPswwGszLJE Option 2: JCI and Goodtech. These doors are used on the Shanghai metro (hence me calling them "Chinese doors"). I have also seen these in action in Shanghai. They appear to work very well as well. I will have videos of them uploaded in the near future. Option 3: Rope doors by Hyundai Rotem. These are in use in the Gwangju and Daegu subways in the ROK. Solna Centrum Station, not to be confused with Solna Station on the pendeltåg network, is a station served by the blue line, specifically the Akalla branch. It is a major station with 10,800 people using the station a day. It is also located rather deep at between 27m and 36m below ground, hence the long escalators to the platform. The station also has a large bus terminal attached to it.
